Apple Sports is Apple's free, real-time scores and stats app for fans, built on three principles: speed, simplicity, and personalization. Inside the app, the work covered the home page and its navigation, the scorecard list and its modular card pattern, and the events page that serves as the live hub for a game in progress. The shared thread across all three was density: surfacing scores, stats, and standings fast enough to feel glanceable while keeping the hierarchy legible and personalized to each fan's leagues and teams.
Beyond the app itself, Apple Sports projects into a range of system-level surfaces: Live Activities on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and Apple Watch; widgets across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and CarPlay; and game sharing through rich iMessage previews. Designing for that range meant treating sports as a single, consistent source rendered into whichever surface fits the moment, supported by a responsive, accessible component system that holds up from a full game hub down to a Dynamic Island glance.
